hey all. i'm really growing to like vue quite a bit. however, the major drawback i see is its lack of dynamic hair and cloth. these are the two things that i've never seen reproduced well in any vue animation. is there any sort of technique available, or plans to make these work? it seems to me that if vue would produce a plugin or feature that would grow hair, it could be used to grow grass as well. you could import a bald character from poser or daz|studio and fix them up with some hair right in vue as opposed to vue trying to import that goofy poser hair. thanks, ren

e-on are apparently working on a new Mover 5 release for vue which is supposed to be able to import Poser 5 dynamic cloth and hair.

Actually, what Mover 5 is supposed to provide is -full- Poser 5 import; which =may= mean shader support as well (or at least some of it). And if you have Vue 4.2, you can already use the dynamic cloth in animations. You may have to experiment and tweak, but as a recent thread shows, it can be done. VeuPro is apparently hit or miss at the moment, but some have gotten it to work. I wouldn't hold my breath for a hair plug-in. That would require a bit more support than Vue or VuePro is capable of providing at the moment....and getting them to that point would push the price tag into the range of Cinema 4D, at least...
