Well by the time you get to read this my re-vamped website should be working properly. C&Cs welcome. I could really use some feedback on this 'cos I came over all sensible-like and took out all the crap..(No! Not my renders..!) I had an issue with some of the buttons but I think/hope I've told 'em who's boss, so if anything doesn't work please let me know.Available on Amazon for the Kindle E-Reader

What resolution is your monitor set at?I was curious because some of your text overlaps images.I am viewing at 1024 x 768. S Other Stuff S I see that on top of the other text. I do like your menu set up and header. Next task is to read your stories.

A cat person? seems to me after reading that first story that Chris has not yet fully come to understand that we don't own cats, they own us. :-D. Nice site.

Hi theBryster! I haven't seen your old site so I can't really compare. What you should do however, is to make the 1st page more inviting. It is empty right now. Personally I like sites that are more compact (like my own www.colacola.se suprise!:)) OK keep up the work and good luck!

Yup, agree with bazze and just wanted to write the same. Put a pic there, a "mission statement" or something.

Thanks, Guys! I really appreciate the feedback. The index page on the last version was too cluttered with rubbish about screen rez, pc specs and boring stuff that I've now put on the 'Other Stuff' page. I like the clean look now. I wanted to highlight the Renders and speed things up. It's not quite there yet so I may shrink the size of the gallery thumbs. A mission statement is a nice idea, except that if I have a mission it's to get better at creating in Bryce and come up with things that blow people away. Thinking about it, I might come up with an anim/collage for the 1st page.....If I can figure out how to make it load up real quick....... Thanks again! The Bryster

Amethyss: Not sure what you're getting at. The rez is 1024 x 768. Maybe you can do a screen grab? and put it up here....

Don't know if it's the geocites thing, but the hosting is a little slow. Along with the idea of adding to the front page, I'd also change the links page so that it opens a new window when I follow a link (add the statement target=_blank to the anchor HTML) Just a personal preference, it's what I've done with the links on my site.----------

Gog: I've no idea what's happend here unless it's to do with the font I'm using. Looks like you eneded up with TNR.ttf when you should see biblescr.ttf I'll post it on the site and it should look better for you. as for the 'S Downloads S' beats the hell outa me.

Yeah, one of things that's fun with website design is trying to work out why it looks different in every browser :-)

I've just install a new button on the home page. It's called 'Load Font'. This zip contains the font needed to make this site work ok... Sorry about that...............Have fun!

It looks okay in IE6 and netscape 7.01. Just downloaded the font. I was getting arial but no overlap. The Geocities ads overlap in Netscape 4.7 but its an old browser type.
Erlik posted Wed, 10 December 2003 at 7:37 AM
Err, Gog, if you want a link to open in a new page, you should open it by yourself. Some of us don't. Bryster, if you want a specific font to show on the page, especially for the links, you should create a little GIF. Enabling people to install a font is not a good idea, for several reasons. There are several fonts installed by default and everybody's computer put the one that their browser thought it should.

Erlik: Thanks, but I'm already working on it. It dawned on me what I was doing wrong, and I'm hoping to sort it all out soon. As for the 'S Download S ' ..I've solved that mystery and will sort that out as well.....
