Thank you, this is very nice of you. Speaking for myself, I like a very neutral, light tone, without colorcast (that can always be added after the fact)...so number three (3) looks good to me. Thanks again, SWAMP

3 and 4 are my favourites :-) What a wonderful idea to make a texture for V3 as a Christmas gift :-))
Mec4D posted Thu, 11 December 2003 at 8:32 AM
thanks SWAMP for your feedback, number 3 is good as a background if you wish to make any modifications that will fit your creations. :) Cath

thank you karanta for your feedback :) 3+4=7 good one maybe I find something between, I hope because we have not much time, the head background is finished and the body is on 80% already done and everything wait for the right touch.. so any feedback is welcome. The number 1 colors was exact as on the photo but it render much darker in poser as in other rendering software so I was confused after 2 weeks, that why I ask you for little help. This will help me to create a nice gift for you but also help me with my next creations. Thanks Cath

Hi Cath, I prefer 4, there seems to be a good balance between the darks and the lights. Sweet!!!!!
shogakusha posted Thu, 11 December 2003 at 9:11 AM
Not to repeat, but I have to agree with #3. #5 would be my second choice. So hard to pick from your textures! }-) A very generous gift!
AlteredKitty posted Thu, 11 December 2003 at 9:36 AM
Wow! Thank you :) #1 (the original) looks the best on my monitor, with #3 a second choice. #4 & particularly #6 look a little green here! ali x

Not so good she says!!!!!!! Cath, your gift of your older "not so good" textures was wonderful! I have already added them to my collection, and am finding I use them above many others I have. As always, you do great work, only now you seem to be doing greater work }-) THANKS! Oh, I don't know if you take requests, but a nice Asain male texture with minimal or no hair would be terrific! Again, thanks!

Number 3 here also, she looks lovely. Thank you for your generosity, your textures are top notch and the tutorials for DeepPaint3d that you put up at your website are the only reason I finally came to grasp with the software, my hat's off to you.

3, mixed with whatever formula you used to make Mike appear human and natural (for a change) in the brilliant free textures. Thank you... I've now started to use Mike a heck of a lot more:)

Another vote here for #3 and #4 - 1 and 2 are too saturated (except if you are blushing or sunburned) - 5 is not saturated enough and 6 is jaundice flesh - Love your work, Cath - I wouldn't complain about any of them ;-)
BonBonish posted Thu, 11 December 2003 at 2:49 PM
Cath... I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for all those wonderful free textures :)... B.B.
Spanki posted Thu, 11 December 2003 at 3:02 PM
You can always (easily) add more color using the material editor (adding some color other than white), but you can't take a dark/saturated/multi-colored texture and make it lighter. My vote is for #3 and #5. These look fantastic Cath - and a great gesture from you - Thanks! - Keith

dragongirl posted Thu, 11 December 2003 at 3:47 PM
#1 - the best natural saturation for color - none of the others look quite real to me - either too pale - or too much of a color cast. (looks beautiful!!) :-)

:D Here's my HueWhore reaction to all the samples (as seen on my MAC): 1= colorful, I like it best, but the yellow in the shadows needs to be desaturated 2= rosy, too rosy 3= lighter, desatured midrange with too much yellow in the shadows 4= a darker number 3 with too way much yellow in the shadows 5= too blue, highlights need yellow 6= Soooo much yellow, it's green!!! Overall: I like the hues in the midrange and highlights in 1, but would strip in some of the desaturted shadow hues from 5 to tone down that yellow, and make the texture overall a bit lighter and desaturated like 3 (but not by much). Hope that helps! :D bB

Looks great.. btw Cath, I was at your site earlier (prompted by a post above) reading your Deep Paint tutorials. I don't have Deep Paint, but was interested in how it works an wha it does and your tutorials were very helpful in showing that. I noticed that there's not a lot (if any) replies in your forums, but I just wanted to let you know that it wasn't due to lack of interest in what's posted there ;). Thanks! - Keith

I was thinking to keep only my Deeppaint3D mini tutorials forums in the future and the rest just remove because we have so much forums around regarding poser that it really make not sense and so or so I come here or there to talk with you all LOL Cath

just putting my vote in for the third version as well. Its a little softer than the original, which means that it should take tinting nicely. 2 is too pink (magenta), 5 is too desaturated (but with wrinkles would make a good old lady), and 7 is very sallow. 4 is also pretty good, but its a little darker than 3, so may cause trouble if trying to tint in Poser. Also I like the soft rose of the cheeks in 3, and in 4 they get a little lost in the rest of the skintone for some reason. Not as if you need my advice lol but I figured I might as well.
