Hi there,
I have both Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop. I was wondering if there was a way to get the effect of PSP's picture Tubes in Photoshop. I've looked into brush settings, pattern makers and plugins but I'm having all sorts of trouble with the settings. I just can't seem to make it work.
I'm working on creating some textures for Poser models from the templates and it just seems to be too much hassle to work in both programs at the same time. From manuals and tutorials, I figured Photoshop would do just about anything I needed it to so it would be really nice if I could find a feature like this.
Oh, I just upgraded to Photoshop 7 so I don't know yet if there's anything different I haven't looked into.
Thank you very much in advance!! :)

Oh, Sorry...I forgot to mention that I do have an extractor that will take the image information out of PSP's picture tubes in .png format. I just don't know what to change it into or if it's even possible. Thanks! Viv

I've never used PSP myself but maybe if you could post an image of what the effect looks like someone here could tell you how to , or if it can be done in Photoshop. BTW, Phtoshop can open PNG files so maybe you could create what you need in PSP and then bring it into Photoshop? I suppose that defeats the purpose but then again I'm not sure what "Picture Tube" is either.

HumanSoftware's PhotoSpray is close to what you're looking for, I think. I've attached a link to the product page in case it helps.vivianne posted Sat, 13 December 2003 at 9:54 AM
