I need to create a shower scene for the comic I'm working on. But I have no idea where or how to beging to create or use a texture map in Poser 5 that will make V3 look like she has wet skin with water droplets a rivlets on it... I was thinking maybe I could do it in post in PS but a good texture map to start with I'm thinking would be better... ...Any ideas?stallion posted Thu, 11 December 2003 at 2:50 PM

RuntimeDNA have the Beach Babies textures which have that shinny wet look you ma want to check them outYou might as well PAY attention, because you can't afford FREE speech

Maybe the BeachBaby V3 texture by Syyd Raven (from RDNA) would help you to start with and then do some postwork in Photoshop --that's what I'm doing in similar situations anyway.

I have that texture and it's great. Also if you make the highlight colour a light colour the skin will render as shiny which looks very good, and wet too. Also try tears in the search here and add those on to if you like. Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!

I thought I saw a tutorial here in the tutorials section not too long ago on making the "wet look". It was using post work though.

runtime dna has a set of skin tone mat poses by traveller that do this very well, generally "wet" characters can be easily created using skin highlights set to a light color in the poser materials setting, and then the plastic wrap filter in photoshop.

Allso her tattoo of the dangerous teddy looks a little blury, but in photoshop it looked fine, any thoughts on how I fix this?
The texture I'm using is "Chanee" by RNKarenEr
I just worked some new layers into it like water droplets (Are they any good)? and I tried to add some soapy bubbles... I'm not sure they turned out so well in the rendering, but they looked great on the skin map in Photoshop... I allso tried to apply Daniella's face make up from a V2 face file... not so sure how well I was able to pull that off either...
Any ideas?
Thoughts?
Curses? ;)

I was able to eventually figure out the neck texture matchup problem.... eventually...
Turns out there was a portion of the neck closest to the face that was still using the old texture... go figure... after telling it to apply the correct new texure I had made... well, tweaked ;) it finally worked...
... just a heads up incase someone else is having the same issue... took me the better part of the day to figure that one out... I kept opening the head & body map in photoshop scratching my head and pulling out my hair trying to figure out why they were not matching up... Oh well, live and learn.
I could still use some help on the other isues of why my tattoo looks a little out of focus when rendering. and if you figure my "soapy" areas look ok or if they could use some more work... I'll probably do a lot of that in post because I can then make the soap bubbles look like they are dripping off areas like her hips and stuff...
Thought?
Ideas?
Curses?
Praises?
