As part of a fun project - we've designed this creature (that we refer to as a snoll). We'd love you to help us name him! If we select your choice of name, we'll give him/her/it to you! cheers, Steve

wyrwulf posted Sun, 14 December 2003 at 11:45 PM

Quote: "If we select your choice of name, we'll give him/her/it to you!" The wording suggests that only the ONE person who's name is chosen will receive the item. That intimates that the item will be for sale. If the item will be given away free, the post should be returned to the original forum. If the item will be for sale, the post belongs here.

Seeing as this thread is still going and I've had a few queries about the monoculapod (snail like creature) - I figured I'd post a WIP of this pet monoculapod's owner... Seeing as this thread has been moved anyways - I guess I can post this here. The UV-mapping and textures haven't been completed yet, so this is a material group coloring only... Also - I haven't included the alien's funky clothing as it is still in development. The monoculapod was planned as a free (yes free) teaser to the full alien product. It is only going to be released later (once the full pack is ready), so the person who wins it would be getting it long before anyone else :-) cheers, Steve PS: I'll be choosing a name from the entries this evening...
