For some time now I'm involved on a sports project which is taking most of my time and then some more LOL I hope to be able soon to share some of the results with you and also to post a sizable amount of poses in the free stuff area...;) Now I got somewhat stuck for I'm working on a couple of scenes involving the curved part of the running track. I've done the straight lanes --not exactly a masterpiece of prop craftmanship but they'll do-- but the curves is another story altogether. As I'm pressed by time I'd like to ask you if anyone happens to know of such an item (stadium, running track etc) been available anywhere (either freebie or commercial), or, in the worst case scenario, could I find some primitives somewhere to do the curved lanes myself?...

Couldn`t you just apply a texture map of a track on a flat plane? A big detailed texture would look quite good.

It would be too flat Xantor... And I'm going after realism. But maybe at least part of the track could be done this way --I'll give it a try if I fail to gig up anything better. Thanks.

Do you want the curves banked, or just having a few curbs at the sides.....Steve

Ahhh crap I just noticed that I missed a lane, is it fine with 4 lanes, or do you want me to make it again?

Four lanes are perfect!!! And let me say it's FANTASTIC!!! I'm eternally in your debt!!!! What can I say!!! You people are truly amazing!... As one is about to lose his faith in humanity, something like this comes along and... Damn, I'm touched... Thank you Odeathoflife and please let me know if there is a way to repay you for your kindness. You can e-mail or put it online... either way is fine for me. I'd like you to know that I'm not preparing a package for sale, just a graphic novel --which I hope would be published within the coming year if I managed to meet the deadlines...:( When I'm done, as I said in my first posting, I'll post the poses and whatever props I made on free stuff area. Thanks again a million times!... :)
