Hi there, I really like this figure so I decided to re-map it. I find UV mapping relaxing. I just sent the file and templates to Neftis as a X-mas gift so I am sure she will let you know when they are available. Here is a shrunk preview of the body and head map. That's cool, Anton. My last product was a tex set for Neftoon Gal, and it was a beast to make, due to the weird mapping. This one looks a whole hell of a lot easier to deal with.

PS: The head seam is pull right from the neck area so the neck and head seam polygons line up identically. If you look at the bottom of the head and the edge of the necks you will see the shape of the seamline match.

Maybe it would be too much work, but I would like to see a tutorial on how you do something like this. Looks really great!

How do you skin the modle that way? It's beautiful! Is this method even possible in UVMapperPro?

You find UV mapping relaxing??? HMMMM? well I don't sappose you might realx a bit with the Pal would you, since you did such a wonderfull map with the gal???

"I find UV mapping relaxing" This statement of yours confirms it, Anton: You're the sickest mofo I ever met (and yes, I do ahve and use UVMapper Pro... which is why I can say this without the slightest twinge of guilt :p ) However, that is one damned cool effort. (meanwhile, I still have that li'l critter on my wishlist at one the these sites... guess I'd better go pony up the cash.) /P

I'll echo Pengy here....I still can't figure out how to use UV mapper!!!! I tired a simple piano...then when I figured out I couldn't figure out how to map the keys I said to hell with it LMAO PIMPL!!!!!!!!

I use UVmapper with DeepUV. Here is a closeup of the hand and feet cuz I think they look so purty. Between Simfreaks.com and making my own figure I don't really have any free time at the moment. When i map my male figure I will try to save out screen caps for a tutorial on mapping from start to finish. hehe for me geometry related things are like games like tetris. Not that they can't be a pain but I have always enjoyed UVmapping and morph targets. I always thought it odd review sites never reviewed product mapping. I think my mapping is why there are usually lots of textures for the things I make. Regards and thanks, Anton

PS: Neftis' Uv maps were well done. I just like doing my own to convert my maps over more easily if I want to.

Anton you are the best!!!! I am so grateful to you for sharing your wonderful talent with us all! I always admire your work and yet, I am always in awe when I see a mapping well done like this 1! Hopefully 1 day I will learn LOL (Like I say, we learn everyday don't we??) I am so glad you like NeftOoN GAL since I put lots of effort on it and on her boyfriend NefToON PAL.I love doing this job (Oh YES!) but it is Thanks to people like you (and some others here and there )lol THAT I keep doing this job! WAY awesome Anton! I spend a lot of time UV-Mapping to get bodies into DMesh because it uses the uv-map as a poly surface map for clothes creation, and this is really very nice! Excellent job!

Guess I'm gonna have to remake my texture pack for the new mapping now. grumble, curse ;)

Without excrusiating effort peple could convert their Vicki3 maps. It isn't effortless but should be quite doable.
