Bored? Too much time on your hands? want a job that pays nothing and causes stress and lack of sleep? (well ... only on bad days) We are looking for new Coordinators for the Poser forum! What does a Coordinator do? think of them as a Deputy Moderator. They keep an eye on the forum, on the gallery, the back room, and other forum related things. So if you are interested in volunteering for this lovely position, please IM me. PLEASE do not suggest someone else, you can only put YOUR head on the chopping block. note: we are EXTREMELY choosy about coordinators, especially for a forum as ...touchy .... as this one. Thank You! Lyrra the ...

I could say so many witty things here ...but I will just say I hope whoever it is is half as good as Lyrra. Is someone leaving Lyrra?

Why shouldn't speech be free? Very little of it is worth anything.

scourge posted Mon, 15 December 2003 at 11:39 PM

I would be very interested, but this is the Poser forum! I wouldn't stay alive five minutes here. In fact, I doubt I could even handle the Xfrog forum.

Little Dragon,
I'm afraid you'll have to find a better hideout. They know where you are...

mateo_sancarlos posted Mon, 15 December 2003 at 11:48 PM

My vote would also be for Little Dragon, who can't stay in the hide-out very much longer - there's no fan!

It would be a sizable rock, Charlie_Tuna. This image is roughly to scale.

(I'm on the right.)

Your intel is clearly mistaken, scourge. That must be an imposter. I have wings.

I admire whoever steps up. You couldn't pay me enough to mod this forum. (And even if you could, you'd fire me right off.)

Skygirl posted Tue, 16 December 2003 at 6:24 AM

Now come on, boys and gals...what are you afraid of ? Volunteer somebody ! This forum is actually great fun !!! ;-]

hauksdottir posted Tue, 16 December 2003 at 7:33 AM

This forum isn't touchy! Try sysoping over 13 year olds in a "family friendly" forum. I'd sit down with my morning coffee to read over the public messages and get a real eye-opener, and it wasn't the caffeine. Why is it always the left nut? Carolly

elgyfu posted Tue, 16 December 2003 at 8:01 AM

Can you clarify the requirements - I want to know if I would be suitable before I go putting my hand up! I don't like volunteering for things I would be useless at!!!

raptorweb1 posted Tue, 16 December 2003 at 9:36 AM

Moderate? I can't moderate myself, let alone a forum. ___________________________________________________________ If at first you don't succeed, FORCE IT! If it breaks, it needed fixin' anyways.

XENOPHONZ posted Tue, 16 December 2003 at 1:14 PM

Does one have to be moderate in order to mod-der-rate?

I am English, they say we are moderate - or perhaps that was eccentric, I am not sure now.

Please note Volunteers unable to read/follow directions and IM me directly will not be considered. Thank you.

panko posted Tue, 16 December 2003 at 4:57 PM

I'd like to volunteer, but I'm restrained by my two bits of good sense. I can read directions. I can't follow them (something to do with my genetic code...) Do I qualify?... :))

Uh.... Then I couldn't dust off my soapbox once in a while... It's one of the few simple pleasures I have left. Besides, I've always been of the firm opinion that a moderator (or coordinator) needs patience, good sense, courtesy, an open mind, common sense, patience, a sense of humor, a big stick, a soft voice, patience, the ability to think before acting, and patience. Did I mention patience? ...and I'd always be comparing myself to Lyrra, and falling short. Sigh...

Dave-So posted Tue, 16 December 2003 at 8:39 PM

Well, I'll throw my name in the pot..or is that hat...or fire. I'm fair, balanced, and non-opiumnated. and besides, I've never been banned..that in itself is deserving of a position...as long as that position doesn't involve bending over. although I was passed over without a first interview last time, so I formally withdraw my nomination.
