r at least she will be soon. :) After literally months of fighting with the MilCat template, last night in a burst of inspiration actually managed to create a decent MilCat texture based on digital photos of my cat Mimi. There is still a bit of seam work to do (mainly around the ears and base of the tail) but it came together remarkably well. Interestingly enough the Poser 4 cat STILL looks more like Mimi herself than the MilCat. But then, due to some congenital problems, Mimi is the only cat I know who's head is actually shaped liked the Poser 4 cat's. ;)

Okay, we really need the ability to edit posts...sigh... the text should read: Or at least she will be soon. :) After literally months of fighting with the MilCat template, last night in a burst of inspiration I actually managed to create a decent MilCat texture based on digital photos of my cat Mimi. Is Mimi a Cream-Blue Tabby? Diane

Actually Mimi is a chocolate lynx point - for some reason the pix I took ended up look a lot darker and bluer than she really is. Now that I've got the knack of it I'm going to take a new set of pix and do a texture that is closer to her true colors and markings but I thought this one looked pretty nice too and I have a friend whose cat is this color. :)
