Can anyone tell me if there is a way to make an object not recieve ambient shadows in scene? I've tried switching off all shadow options in the Mat editor.Don't know what else to try(if anything). Thanks.

Ambient shadows, meaning...? Shadows cast from other objects, or Self-shadows, or just light in general? I've never really had a problem with shadow-casting...(grins) Perhaps a quick screen shot? If you know where all those options are in the Material Lab, you have probably tried all the things I could think of offhand...

Yeah, what are "ambient shadows"?? Are they reflections?

Could be worse, could be raining.

I guess I just meant shadows.Say if your shadows are set to red, can you make an object not be red from the cast shadows?

So, you mean you have your shadow ambient color set to red?? If that's the case, then, no ... because the ambient light is tinting the entire scene. Regardless of whether or not something is casting a shadow on it, the ambient of the scene will tint it red.

Could be worse, could be raining.

That's what I figured.Thanks..
