This is the first experiment I did using the "hair " command in poser. Like everyone said, when it is exported as a 3ds and imported back so it can be rendered, it turns into triangles. It still looks kinda neat though. Also, if you look down by her left shoulder you can see that some of the hair stayed "hair-like". I wonder why that is...

Grook open poser and type 'hair' (no quotes) straight into the keyboard. You'll see the 'treemaker' dialog box and can play with it. (I guess you missed the posts on this 10 days back) Select any body part and click 'create'.....then wait. It's slow and it won't render, but you can use File/Export/Image to get a jpeg. maclean PS If I knew how to upload images, I'd show y'all my 'hairy' catgirl!

Oh wow.!! learn something every day!! Once my current animation is done, I am going to play with that right away.Yes , haven't been in the forum for about 2 weeks or so. =( so I type hair without any sort of dialogue box or anything? Weird...why is it hidden? Is it beta? thanks!!

unfinished part of Poser 5 (we think) wot got left in by mistake........or else they couldn't figure out how it worked and left it up to the users to get it on the road! maclean

Can it be trans-mapped? What do the default UV's look like if it is pulled into UV Mapper?

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

maclean--uploading here is really easy. Go to 'post a new message' in the forum here, then scroll down in the dialog box, type a subject and your message, notice the 'upload image' area and then browse to your .jpeg image on your own harddrive (or wherever)-using the 'browse' button--your .jpeg will appear in that line (as windows/desktop/image.jpeg or whatever). Then--just hit create message and that's it. Diane B

Yes, I saw your post right after I posted this G (I bet all of us had to figure it out at one time or another). The catgirl image is interesting. Glad you figured it out and posted it. Diane B
