Seems confession at this time of year is good for the soul, so if anyone else out there has... "appropriated" something for use in their own goods, maybe now would be a good time to spill it and get it over with. ::waiting with as much Catholic patience as I can possibly muster right about now::

Ok...I kind of "appropriated" my son's guinea pig. It's his, but I've been referring to it as "Mine"...

I was going to release my new photo realistic texture for the Manequin that has taken me two months to do. I actually hired a real manequin (not joking) and photographed it, and made the maps from scratch. But with the rising popularity of Naked Manequin In A Temple With A Lego Block pictures, I am afraid that someone is going to steal my texture, so I am going to keep it for myself. Sorry to all the people who were so eagerly awaiting the new texture.

I work in Hollywood. Years ago, a friend of mine and I were on the Paramount lot wandering around (he had business there), and we found the soundstage where they had the big, main interior set for "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine." We were alone, so we started tinkering with things and taking pictures of ourselves in front of props and stuff like a couple of kids locked overnight in a toy store. And we came up to the big round airlock door and decided to open it. It slid on a track and it easily rolled to one side. But then, without warning, it continued rolling right off the track and across the soundstage floor, like a giant nickel. Then it fell over with a loud CRASH! And we ran away. My confession is that my friend and I broke "Deep Space Nine." -jjsemp

I watch Daria all the time, I like it, if I had known her and Jane in high school, I would have a lot more fond memories than I do..do I?..;)
Borderline nuts on Trekkie..I have taped every episode of TOS
TNG
VOY
Enterprise (missing 2..how I did that..;)
All the movies
have one TNG uniform top, with ensign's insignia, and communicator
did a picture of all the 'trekides', the 'made-up' elements, and assigned them to their relative places on the Mendelev table (and posted it here..;)
Wanted to..oh no, too horrible...write Science Fiction, there, I've said it, 'the literature that dares not speak it's name'..;) Yeoman Rand was a bit chunky, but eventually they all got Chunky..;)

Look at most of starlets of the 60's. That was the normal shape. Very few were Twiggy types.

OK.. lemme see.. all my dirty little secrets.. EG I fooled around with my ex-boyfriend in the backseat of my parents car, while my sis and her BF were driving.. I gave my husband a present while we were driving home to visit my parents.. if your mind is dirty enough, you'll know what I gave him ;) (What the hell is it with cars that turn me on?) LOL I... collect Transformers action figures.. and I love them still! I'm dead-scared of people touching my neck. (childhood trauma..) I had the biggest crush on Mark Hamill when I was 13-15. I seriously wanted to marry him! LOL Darth Maul turns me on `^_^ I always feel like grabbing a volvo and run over Garden Pixies! EG I hate people who over-take me. I flip the birdie at least 8 times when i'm driving. I hate pedestrians, and if they don't move, I RUN THEM OVER.. like garden pixies..

I listened to opera and when everybody else drooled over David Cassidy and Mark Spitz, I drooled over the local tenor... And I adored and still do Good Times and The Jeffersons.

I own more anime DVDs titles that the local Blockbuster. (And not ONE DBZ in the stack!) I think I was Daria in high school. I certainly looked and sounded like her, but with more acne and less fashion sense. I used to be able to sing the Ewok song from The Empire Strikes Back. (I'm currently singing "The Saga Begins" by Weird Al as I type this confession: "Oh, my, my, this here Anakin guy, maybe Vader some day later, now he's just a small fry ... ") 3 years ago I finally achieved a life long dream - I got to see Weird Al in concert! My comic collection is still growing after 20 years. I want to start a local chapter of the Gnome Liberation Force. Scared yet? ;-)

rasputina posted Thu, 18 December 2003 at 9:52 PM

oh I watch Golden Girls still, nothing is funnier really, ahh Darth Maul also turns me on, but worse still (at least I have been told repeatedly that this is so) I half fancy Chris Pontius.

Mariamus posted Thu, 18 December 2003 at 9:53 PM

Chris Pontius? that guy from Jackass?.. he has a nice bum. LOL

rasputina posted Thu, 18 December 2003 at 11:35 PM

the very same. lol. I think it is the laugh though, or the aforementioned bum. :)

Goldie Hawn, yes, but not many like that.

Would it help if admitted to also having Jimmy Buffet, Gaelic Storm, Benjamin Lake, and Aerosmith in the rest of the CD changer?

Rand..well you couldn't have a crush on a woman like that..I admired her from afar :) I have nearly all of the Columbo tv series on video and still regularly watch them.....just one more thing..As a child...oh alright..now..I still think the blond woman from Ironside is one of the hottest women that's ever been on TV. After Elisabeth Montgomery, of course I'd confess to using company time to post and download but I suspect most of us do the same Happy holidays to everyone

Yup, I DO listen to country, but then again I AM from Texas. My Dwight Yoakum, Jesse Dayton, Lyle Lovett, Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash CDs have the same place of honor as my Ramones, the Buzzcocks, Los Lobos (en espal), Queen, Rob Zombie and the Clash's "London Calling".

'nother confession- I used to have a Playboy collection, from 62-92, so I know what you mean..the 'sexy' back then would be Bridgette-Jones style today..;) Women are much more in shape now..had to sell the collection to make rent one year..but it was fun while it lasted..;) I was in grade school during the TOS years, didn't discover wimmin until the 'animated' (lost) series came out..Deanna was interesting though..;)

Battle of the Planets rocked. There's been 2 or 3 bastardizations, but the original dub in the 70s was great. I'm waiting for the boxed set of Inuyasha to start that series going. I just hope it doesn't go downhill like Ranma 1/2 did after season 3.

I think about killing myself every day, I just havent figured out a way to to do it painlessly and fool proof. I'd park in the garage and leave the engine on if I could but with these new emissions standard, I must just end up with a permanent headache and a straight jacket. Besides that, I'm too lazy to move all the shit outta the way. Sleeping pills only work on TV I think. I'm too beautiful to have a bullet through my brain or splattered all over the concrete. Besides someone could use the organs as I am an organ donor. I ask a doctor to do it once but he thought it was a big joke. I told him how serious I was but he didn't take me seriously. Someone will kill me one day, soon I hope, and at my request but in this world, it's not really your life. Telling people you want to die is a quick way to the looney bin, the single minded cowards. And nothing I stated in this post is a joke. All very serious.

..ah, the young..wait until you have a few things wrong with ya, then you'll treasure being alive all the more..just a note, if you actually do say you want to kill yourself, you could be looking at a minimum of 3 weeks' 'observation' at the local mental ward, and I'm being serious about that too..the world is filled with so much ugliness, be a dang shame to waste any beauty out there..take care.

Death will come eventually to all of us, and there is no going back...surely there are other things to be curious about ;) As for my confession: Hm...I still believe in Santy Clause...his name is Daddy :D I read in the bathroom...no matter where I am, bath, toilet...shower is a bit tricky tho...;) When I was 15 I took mom and dad's car out to go mud-doggin'....almost slid into a creek but boy was it fun Might think of more later...right now I have to go play a game...Im hopelessly addicted to pc games ;) ~Jani
