Can someone intelligent please clarify this for me. What format do I use to export and re-import the treemaker hair in a usable form? OBJ? 3DS? And how? Bear in mind that I haven't done much of this stuff yet. I'd appreciate it, as I'm trying to make a cat-woman with good hair (fur, whatever) Thanks maclean

I use .obj for mine, but keep in mind it won't look like it does in Poser - it will be triangles instead of strands. Poser just makes it look that way because it only displays the edge of each triangle, or something like that. Anyway, it will probably turn out appearing pointed instead of shaggy.

So far the most foolproof method was to export as 3DS, convert it to .obj (I use 3D exploration for that - you can find it here: http://www.xdsoft.com/explorer/ ) Now, I have also heard that if you open the .obj file in a text editor and change all the l lines to f lines you will retain the hairiness ??? Not sure of this as I haven't tried it myself. That's about as intelligent as I'll get before coffee :)
