Design as in basic compostion, lighting etc. or design as in page layouts, fonts etc.? A search on Amazon.com for digital -art- books should give you a ton of possible titles. -Real World Bryce, by Susan Kithens is a good start for Bryce, lots of image examples.

Expose is likely the leading art book for the digital art industry, I attached the website if you'd like to look into it.

I think Susan's last name is "Kitchens". :-)

If you are just starting out, one of the best books is "Getting Started with 3D" by Janet Ashford and John Odam. It's got the basics of design and is a good jumping off point for ideas.

Could be worse, could be raining.
