In Photoshop is there an equivalent tool to Painters blending brush? Please advise. Thanxx

AFAIK there isn't. The Blur, Smudge and Sharpen tools are the nearest matches, I think.

Plus there are Blending Options in Layer Styles.

also in conjunction with the "history brush" to achive more traditional brush strokes... (this is where Painter beats PS "hands-down" in replicating traditional medias)... :) retrocity

Thanks for the tips. I think I'll have to get painter, or maybe stick to trad 2d painting.
