yeah, it's awesome in terms of models, but the lighting is a bit off. E~

A spectacular underwater scene. He doesn't say what's done in Bryce or even how much of it is Bryce. He does mention PSE however. A great image nevertheless.

A really terrific render for sure. What's PSE?

How is the lighting off? Looks great to me.

Sure some of those fish aren't just image planes? Hmmm... I've got to admit that the coral and sea plant models look realistic, and the spider shrimp is kinda nifty. But like draculaz says, the lighting could use something, probably an image gel of a caustic pattern.

Oh yeah, I think PSE is short for saying PhotoShop Effects.

Photoshop Elements. Photoshop's little sister, it's the version I have (less than $100 US). Up to version 2.0, now.

That was it! I didn't see any caustics! But the image is none the less a great one, and caustics would have added that something special for sure....:)

I don't want to give anything away, but you know dennisld and myself are picking the January challenge? There is a possibility that - NO! I've said too much. Lets just say, you might want to keep your underwater postings back 'till next month. :-)

That's one fine image Zhann, thanks for pointing it out. If we're doing an underwater for the next challenge I'm in heaven, I've been thinking about doing something along those lines for a while. 8) Catlin

I have something along those lines in the works as we speak. smile
