the first is a cowgirl outfit for Nia. people have been asking for Nia clothes for awhile now, and theyll be having their wishes granted soon. i always promised an 'unconventional faerie', heh.. well heres the first. you can use the wings together with the pack, or mix and match. theyre UV mapped very well so you can make your own custom textures for them easily. today ill be releasing another free wing texture for them so keep an eye on freestuff. the cutoffs, string top, cowgirl hat and spur earrings are the first part of a large western themed clothes pack for her. the next will be an addon which gives her a pair of cowgirl boots, a bandanna, cigar and an alternate shirt and hat band.

the second pack is a leather corset set which will be out in a couple of days. it includes a zip-front, lace-back leather corset, leather panties, posture collar, ankle restraints and high-heeled sandals. nia's body has also been remorphed into 'Carolina', and includes corset cleavage morphs and waist morphs to shape her realistically into the corset. this corset wasnt modelled around vicky's default body - but modelled in conjunction with body morphing to give her a more realistic look. since shes up on her tiptoes in 6" heels, her calves, knees and feet have also been remorphed to give her a sexy 'calves flexed' look. the pack also includes the custom 'Carolina' head morph.

a look at the corset. poser 4 users have bump maps and custom MAT settings to make it look like real leather. P5 users get an extra boost in realism from displacement/bump mapped zippers, specularity maps on the leather, etc. either way, it renders great in both programs. the zipper in this image is a *very* simple flat mesh - all the detail is from bump/reflection/displacement/texture maps which are included with the pack. separate MATs for Poser 4, Pro Pack, and Poser 5.

WoW, Gabe! I've always associated your name with creating all those wonderful characters you have made. Now, I see these incredibly detailed pieces of clothing. The stringing in that corset is amazing. You should make MORE clothes! Right in time for my R'City 10% coupon, too...hehe.

thanks terri, chuck :) chuck - the credit for the cutoffs goes mostly to rio. the mesh turned out great but what really makes them look good is her texturing job - she slaved over that thing in deep paint and a bunch of digital photos for 3 days. ive been making clothing because, well, in all this time of creating characters and textures 90% of the questions id have would be about how to fit clothing to them. while im thankful for the tailor, since it makes everyones job of clothing unconventional bodies easier, im still going to release every new character i make with some clothing custom-fitted to the body. just gives me more freedom to make what i like. after the cowgirl addon and the carolina pack, there will be two more clothing packs for nia as well. i have a sci-fi one nearly done, and yet another themed one as well. i figure with a large western pack, a leather corset/bondage type pack, faerie wings, a sci-fi pack and another yet undisclosed one everyone will be able to mix and match and make whatever they like with nia. cheers, -gabriel
