I am using a prop from PoserWorld called the warehouse bedroom. Part of the prop is a mosquito net type bed canopy with folds of cloth that cascade down and pool on the floor. Everything is fine with it except that it covers up a part of the "bed" that I would rather not see through a "screen" of material. I tried using UV mapper to "map" the "object" which I guess it really ISN'T an object...confused here...and then made a trans map of it, but all it did was cut holes in the texture that was applied...not trans out the area I wanted.. Is there any way to cut this area out using a transmap? I have circled in the image the area I wish to NOT have the canopy be covering...any ideas? Transmap from UV next post as well as what it should look like with the right transparency...except I would like to cut out the circled red area (only on the curtains) so you have aclear view of the figure...
