Those are perfect, the corrugated steel fits right in too. 1 small item, the main deck shows repeating, I know that's a tough one to get realistic with out repeating. So far so Great :)

Oh, this is looking great! Very cool indeed! I see what you mean about the repeating texture on the deck. Is that a photo texture or a DTE texture? In either case, couldn't you control the axis frequency? I realize you're limited with a photo texture but you may be able to recompile the texture using an image editor. Great work!

Totally agree with both the above comments. Looking really good.

I`ve followed this since your first post and have been overawed by the detail. Looking really good with these textures.

Hey everyone, Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, the tiled look can be a pain in the butt sometimes. To remedy that, I enlarged the texture. Before it was 1000 X 1300. I doubled it to 2000 X 2600 and played with it so that it looks like one texture and not four put together. Quest - Yes, these are photo textures that I am using. I just couldn't get what I wanted fromt he DTE. I tried playing with the axis frequency, but to get the rust coming over the edges the way it is isn't easy. Yes, I can tweak it in post, but I want to try and do as much as I can without post. Zhann - How do you like the darkness on the lower deck? Better? As soon as I rendered it with the new textures, i thought of what you said. I like the contrast of the yellow/black safety striping against the grey better than the white or the beige, also. Coolcat - The repeating textures are accomplished in the materials lab with the editor. In the ML, look at the texture you are using. 2 Dots in the upper right of the texture box. 1st dot. Allows you to scale, move, stwist or rotate the texture. Groin - I thought about it, but I will need some help from you with the explosions. Oh, yeah, and Zhann, too. hehe Thanks everyone. I'll be posting more with the next few days. Think of anything else, let me know.

The height on the handrails on the top deck are much taller it seems than the lower deck. The only problem I have with it is scale... Maybe it's my eyes, but It seems too small for some reason, maybe that room on top, if you compare its size to the handrails, I mean, don't these things have lots of people living on them for the most part? The texturing is kicking ass though. Good work. Cory BS

Working on one section of it at a time, Bryster. It's a lot easier to work with/on this way. I know the scale isn't on the money....at all, but I will try to remedy that. Hey Ardiva, is the guy on the lower deck and elf? hehe Looking at it reminded me of peter pan or something. Thanks, though. Gives me something to use as a guide.
