A twinkle of lights
Hinting at gift ideas
A plate of milk
A plate of cookies
Vowing to finally catch him
A slip of snow
A sip of cocoa
Dreaming of what might show
A clattering of feet
A rending of ribbon
Smiling all around
A sweep of the broom
A push on the door
Closing the back closet again
