::cries:: I can't even get it to render. I hit render, it says it does it, but there is no image file in my folder.

Hi - what render settings are you using? Also, have you tried rendering to a new window?

I did not see that as an option. I opened D|S, I found the Render button, I hit it. A dialogue came up asking what format I wanted to render in, I chose it, named my file, and watched the status until it said it was done. I opened Photoshop to look fir my file, but there was none there.

when you save, try saving your pic as "render.jpg" (maybe it doesn't add the extension ??) hope it works ;-)

Go to the Render Menu, and select "Save Last Render" to save the image. It still sits in RAM until you do something with it. BTW, when you give a file name to save it as, make sure you tack on ".jpg" or ".tif" to the file name when you do name it. If you forget, find the file (it'll have no extension behind it), and rename it with the extension; it'll open fine. /P

Maybe you could try using the render settings in post 2 of the thread link above? (the render options are available under the render menu). You could also try rendering to a custom sized window - this works ok for me. Hope this helps.nickedshield posted Thu, 25 December 2003 at 11:18 AM
Penuinisto, I did what you said about tacking on the extension and my file showed up exactally where it should have. Nice tip.
I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.
