I was just playing with the Heavy Horse after finaly getting it to load properly (see Crescent's post about fixing seams below) and was blown away at what a difference the different shaders make to a final render! I noticed that cr2s are importing with the materials all set to "plastic lighting mode" so I created 2 distant lights and did a test render (show here). I then tried it with the skin set to "skin lighting mode" and then the "matte lighting mode". The skin lighting mode took much longer to render but is well worth the wait :) After that I think the Matte looks the best. Also being able to select multiple materials to sedit at the same time is a huge time saver, I can't even do that in Cinema 4d! I'll attach the other renders next....
