I wanted to import a poser scene, so i tried to load a poser scene. When I did so, a dialog came up asking me to locate poser 4.exe to prove i owned it. Accidentally, I selected poser 5. It told me I was in error and needed 4 to do the job, which I also have, however it now won't let me do that a second time. Everytime I try and load a poser scene it tells me my poser exe is invalid but wont give me a chance to locate 4 again. it tells me to contact curious labs for a valid serial number but i already have poser 4. Ive searched through every conceivable menu, how can i get the chance to locate 4 for it again so that it will let me import?

Rename Poser 5 directory. Vue will ask where is the poser.exe again.

here's the problem tho, once i do that it does indeed ask again where poser.exe is. great! but if I want to use poser 5, i have to reset the folder name yet again. Then, when i try to import into vue, i must re-rename and so on. isn't there some way to just tell the blame thing to forget entirely about poser 5, show it poser 4 and have it be done with it?

I have solved the problem in installing Poser 4 and Poser 5 on 2 different HD. I have renamed both folders to "Poser". Vue finds easily wherever i import from:-) Guitta

i already have 4 and 5 on 2 diff drives, but if i rename the folders in any way won't I have trouble loading poser? loading textures anbd objects from within poser?
