well it is a breath of fresh air for those of us stuck in the world of "is it porn isit sensuality or it is normal" as well as a relief from alot of rules and such that have been lately pounded into people in renderosity. {no that is not a bash please do not give me a warning it is a fact that many many MANY people are feeling as if renderosity is shooting themselve in the foot with the new rules, mods, and the whole atmosphere of control and censorship} there is no upload limit there is a section for adult art {some wonderfully classy adult art as well} there is sections for just about any art you want and forums. not to mention journals and chat and free stuff and store I myself have started my gallery over there and am debating removing mine from here. which to me is a shame {I dont have a big following} I do love this place but I do not like some of the things that have been accuring. I think on a whole renderosity is going through growing pains that are alienating many members. hopefully when it all settles we will all have a much better renderosity that makes it members feel like members and not guests with a time card just waiting to be punched

Rendervisions is just one of many new sites popping up catering to the general populance of 3d Graphic artists and posters. Like it or not, Renderosity is giving a great boost to these sites simply by just being Renderosity. I am not blasting Rosity...I still think it is a great site with a lot of diversity, but too ofen the diversity is overshadowed by the controversy surrounding it. The plus side of these new sites starting up is that we are seeing the end of the monopolistic rule of the 'biggie' sites, we are being presented options and alternatives. Renderotica is going in a different direction now with subscription rates to see the works of their 'top artists', a couple of new free sites 'Action Babe Central' and 'Comic Babe Central' feature more explicit types art and will enter in the running for this audience. DreamSlayer Artworks is another good example of fast a growing community with 'benefits'. Their recent and very successful Darker Side of Christmas contest held here at Rosity testifies to their potential. All in all I think that the year 2004 is going to be an exciting year full of changes for the better as concerns 3D graphics, and Poser users in particular. With the changing of the year we are going to see a changing of the 'guard' as well.

censorship can be done by anyone that holds what is seen as authority or power. it is the ability to censor what is said seen or heard also what is expressed in mediums. I find this ironic as renderosity openly invites people to express themselves and give critique and opeinions..only if they agree with them it seems though. and yes there is a growing disention about things that are poping up. also No one is whinning. It is a growing opinion....deal with it.

I think it's just that it's been quite some time since this place has had a "whine fest" and in a community this large, it happens now and then. I just try to ignore the complaints and the strange things the admins occasionally do, and go on. If I'm unhappy about what's happening on, I just lurk for a while and come back in when things settle down. Now, I'll have to check out this Rendervision place. I only heard about it a couple of days ago, and have never been there. Thanks for the link. Melanie

hmm btw i went there and there was no freestuff, or the website does not get well along with my browser maybe.. regarding adult section ? what are the TOS ? i mean most anime adult art was kinda censored/banned from rotica, and so i have nowhere to post my anime hentai poser art (so i keep it for myself...) thanx for reply

hmm i dont want to start some witch hunt... truth is that one day i came back to rotica and found that most/all animedoll like picturers of my favorite artist were missing in his gallery. checked my profile to see if some filter were not active agaisnt my will, they were not. All that left were pictures that could in fact had their way here at rosity. I asked the artist and got no reply. after that, two of my 3 pictures were deleted too withotu im, warning or anything at first. I restrained myself to post the ones i just finished. I messaged some moderator/admin and talked abotu tos violation on the last two.. but given the excuse/pretext i heard, i wonder why the first picture of mine had not suffered same fate. I deleted it myself then, pissed off and anticipating. discussing with the admin, it began clear that they had strictly no idea how to appraise/handle/consider anime hentai art on rotica and they "would be discussing this together"'.. have no reply since then and sdon't ask any. it seems that it is good to make big boobed vicky 2 tortured on SM furnitures, but making gentle anime erotism (or humorous) is out of question. One of the "TOS violating" picture of mine that was dumped was featuring the same character than one of my picture on renderosity (should not have said this, now they sure will delete it here too :), so i genuinely thought that IF it was not missplaced on renderosity, it wouldn't on rotica :) i was wrong... end of the story, and i won't discuss of this. I'll try my art at rendervision, and if there is any problem, i still expect at least some honnesty, some communciation and explanations, not hyppocrisy and blind talk

hmm you are mistaken, so far my rosity gallery has no problem.. that is the rotican gallery that had some (if you check my profile you'll see it is empty out there...) I posted things on rendervision thati did not yet post on rotica (they made me gave up the idea...) i hope you will enjoy them. I try to be broad in the thematics i use, i try to revisit most of classical overused japanese hentai classic stuff. When i'll have been around it whole, i'll try to become original :) So far i did not post my rotica-problematic pictures on renderovision... (maybe i'll try with the one they did not delete and that i deleted myself...)

btw i would need clear guidelines and tos regarding what can fall within classical poser section of rendervision and what is bound to adult section.. I saw very pretty pictures on clasiscal poser section out there, with nudity, but same kind than on renderosity, so it is by no way an offense. I just need to be shown the boundary so i would not mispost pictures in the wrong section... browsed a bit the website and could not find posting guidelines

well I know that the adult gallery is great ~chuckles~ but parts of my gallery that I consider adult was not adult over there. but here the same pics have garnered me pervert mail. LOL. they have a great many galleries I am sure you will enjoy it also if you are in doubt give one of the mods a holler and I am sure they can help. :)

Here's the TOS http://www.rendervisions.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=3 While we need to do a tweak to it because due to a minor thing when putting it together, we accidentally forgot to include the only clause for the Adult gallery as being "No depictions of young humanoid characters in erotic, seductive, provocative poses or context." Which basically means, no children. For the most part we don't find it to be children if they are fully developed (there are always exceptions, like if you slapped boobs or a hardon onto the poser baby and had them in a sexual situation) As others said, r'osity continuing in these actions are causing people to leave. They aren't acknowledging it (I had an arguement with a r'osity head about it) because most of the people are simply stopping use of their accounts here rather than deleting them.

what about depiction of realistic asian girls, or anime hentai style ? regading this point you just mentionned ?

As I said, as long they aren't obviously of kids, then its ok.
