One more thought... I seem to notice quite a few computer and hardware questions scattered about the various forums. How about a Hadware and Tech forum, to give members a place to go for expert and semi-expert advice on the things we run our software on...

Dunno Wizz, since you're only the 1st post since I put this up, we may be whistlin' in the dark... I may have to talk it over with Ed and volunteer to moderate it.

I, for one, would be a constant source of probably really dumb questions, but would welcome such a forum. ~Dave (NOT a techie in anybody's wildest dreams)

There are no dumb questions... only unasked ones. I didn't know a thing about the inside of the box 3-4 years ago, now I build em for a sort of living. I asked lots of questions of friends who were techies, and read a lot. And tinkered around inside of mine.

Pretty much the same here... that plus I'm a voracious reader... and happen to love tech manuals ) Built up about 5 computers for meself... and still planning on making another.. Ooh.. a render farm ) now to get a decent hub...

If you find a good hub... let me know. We were discussing a render farm just the other day. Got to find something to do with all these old P133's we keep accumulating.

I saw one for the USB port... 7Port hub... but I'm not sure if the USB is supported for that... I've also seen one by LinkSys but that's expensive... Lan hub 15 ports... triple digit cost... maybe your local ISP has an old one they're not using anymore due to speed etc?
