Ok here is the current version of the spot. The AE and the Producer are both fighting over it...each wants different changes..and of course the client wants a few changes. This mainly has to do with the video clips being shown. It will probably be weeks before it gets sorted out, but I dont care anymore. Id rather die than be an AE...what a horrible life. Anyway this is my crowning achievment in my short 3d life. I have wanted to attempt something like this since 1990 when I got my hands on a beta toaster with lightwave..but Carrara made it work for me. Oddly enough they liked it at work enough that I think they budgeted for 4 copies of next year. Those scene wizards (wind/text) are great for tv. As always tripod sucks....if you have a new host ideal for me let me know...it has to be front page enabled and it has to be at least 30megs. Your best chance at viewing it is to rightclick and download it. dont try streaming it or it prob wont work. Let me know what you think (good or bad...I can take it :)BigSerge posted Mon, 28 August 2000 at 4:34 PM
You are not kidding with your comment on tripod, "GOLLLLY!!" I'm on a T1 and it's donloading at 2.6KB/sec "SWEET MOTHER MARY OF JOJO!". I'll post a reply on the file if I can get it

Nice job, glad one of your goals has been realized after so long. That's great news on the changes your client wants to make, more billing for alterations!

wow...people managed to download and look at it :) Thanks for the complements. I was rather shocked it when I was told about the deadline..thank goodness the stupid texture maps sort of worked (and lucky for me I had some stuff ready to go). I am sort of shocked I made something like that...I thought the clouds where awesome at the beginning. Anyway thanks for the feedback..makes me feel good. I'll try and get the semi posted up latter this week. BTW: did anyone notice that after the camera swung by the sign @ the building there where 2 chrome doors there? Anyway the doors where reflecting everything upside down...thought it was a bit odd...
