Hi, Can anyone advise me on the legality/ethics of giving away poser figures in Vue format? I'd like to share some basic animal/birds that I've bought and posed with those in the community who don't have Poser. Would it be sufficent to just to credit the original makers or possibly include the licence for any proprietry items I've used? I don't necessarily want to provide them through the Renderosity, just through my website. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Nick

You cannot distribute any file or data in any format that is derived in any way from a Poser figure (except rendered pictures). Read CuriousLabs EULA at the link above and consider especially the distribution part.

Re-triangulated, simplified, subdivided, or other Derivative forms of exported geometry data remain Restricted (= not allowed for distribution) Content.

Fair enough. Thanks, Guitta.

I think you could provide them as pre rendered alpha planes I suppose which can be useful as low polygon fills for a scene, someone else will probably know more on the subject. Alla
