It's about a man who works for the secret services and the government think he has defected or something and they kidnap him and put him in a very strange little village in the back of nowhere. There is no escape from this place and the folks are all known as numbers and wear sort of Edwardian clothing. Everyone there is either someone who's done wrong with the government or is part of the establishment and they keep drugging people and watch everything that they do. It is a totally wierd tv series and I first watched it when I was a kid in the sixties. If you ever get a chance to see it Sharen you should. I never really understood what it was all about but it has left an image in my head and made a big impression on my childlike mind. 8) Catlin
