Ok now that Im starting to get the hang of bryce I ran into this little bugger. Im trying to set a light source behind a set of eyes (made of glass) for that "glowing" affect but when I render the piece to see how it turns out I get either nothing or a big bright white circle where the light should be any sugjestions?

Het RF - Did you try using a volumetric material instead of a light, turn the spec way up and fool around with the spec color. the eye will apear to glow, but i dont know if im understannding what your trying to achieve. the actual eye glowing or headlight like eyes beams of light from the eyes???? roch222

To get glowing eyes try turning the ambiance of the material way up. This is how I got the glow on the warp engines of my voyager render.

This does have ambience turned way up, but I had to fiddle with a lot of other things, like declaring the texture additive and so on. It's too late now to explain further, so that will wait for tomorrow.
