I remember that there was a stage or something with a dancer's pole on it somewhere in free stuff but I can't seem to find it now - can anyone help me?

a dancer's pole could be done with primitives in Poser, I think..hafta ask 'Dr. Prop'..Dr. Geep..;) just needs a metallic texture..of course the wadded bills, etc., I think Geep just showed us how..;) the actual item doesn't ring a bell, tho.

Is this the one you were thinking of? By Dimension_X. I recall seeing another, but it may not have been here. Might have been at Arduino's hangout, 3dpmr.com (don't hold me to that though)Grey_cat posted Tue, 06 January 2004 at 10:38 PM
Yes, I remember it, but I don't know the name of the person that created it. I do know that he closed down his site something like a year ago.

Andi3d has one here as well. Looks nice, but doesn't include the poses as DX's does. Has a base and top though. =)JVRenderer posted Wed, 07 January 2004 at 12:04 AM

good one, dr. geep, I also had to look for dollars props a while ago when I was looking for a strip club set as well... the one I'm using is called Fashion Stage, I don't know if it's a freebie here, but I'm sure it's for free wherever it;s available. I thinks it's actually at 3d commune. It doesn't have a pole, but that's easy to fix with a simple cilinder prop.

There was an excellent one by Pixelfader, but it seems to have been removed.DrunkMonkey posted Wed, 07 January 2004 at 8:10 AM
There used to be one around called "Sugar's Shack". Don't remember who did it though. If I remember to after work I'll see if I can find it and the read me to let you know who did it and maybe where to find it.

Many thanks for all the help everyone! While I didn't find the one I'm looking for, you guys did help me find one I can use. I just got a new computer and I'm totally unorganized ;) I know I have the old one somewhere either on my hard drive or on CD's but if I can't find something after an hour I usually head back to free stuff! lol It must be the one from the site that disappeared. From what I remember he had some very nice sets for download...ah well that's the way of the internet right? Here today, gone tomorrow ;) Thanks again!
Phantast posted Wed, 07 January 2004 at 10:01 AM
That's right. Which unfortunately means download today if you MIGHT want it ever, as tomorrow it may be gone.
