Well sort of... I need it to be a solid object. Like a base. Not sure what booleaned off is though.

The cone is set to positive, the cube is set to intersect, the group is set to positive (all in A attributes) Both the cube and cone have the same mat. I hope this helps. Tres

amethyss, boolean it as above and make a distance render. use the distance render with a terrain. That'll get rid of the brain drain for sure. - TJ

Tres: Both objects don't have to have the same .mat. You could turn off transfer of material when booleaned on the negative object. (Although you probably knew that)

Alternative...a terrain. Terrain editor-New-Blobmaker,3 taps.-raise,a lot and it will flatten off.-smooth,several taps.-clipping brackets, lop off bottom. Well, mine looks like your sketch but it isn't a solid.

Thanks Bryster, I didn't know that (I only have about 3 tricks, and now have used up one, lol) However, there was no negative object in my example, just one positive, one intersect and group positive. Does it still work?
