I have just finished a dress for AnimeDoll. I have tested it in PPP and P5 and it fits like a glove. When I test it in P4, it doesn't fit right. I used the original animedoll cr2 as a base for the dress cr2. I Would be willing to share the dress with anyone who has a clue as to why this is happeing or think they can fix it. thank you marty

All I can think of is that P4 uses an RSR file for the geometry, whereas PPP and P5 will read the OBJ directly. You haven't altered the OBJ and forgotten to delete the RSR by any chance?

I didn't know about rsr files needed for P4 geometry. I only have an obj. I am going to do some research on the rsr issue, thank you for you help.

Poser 4 makes an RSR the first time you load an item - thereafter it uses the RSR if it exists, which is faster. So if you modify the OBJ file, Poser will continue to load the RSR and will miss your modification. This would be a problem only if you altered the OBJ file after opening the item in Poser 4. The RSR will be in the Geometries folder where the OBJ is located, with the same file name root.

To get around this problem while running P4 under a Mac I increment the obj file name with every change. Thus "NewDress4.obj," "NewDress5.obj," etc. When the thing is finally fixed up properly I rename one more time and clean out the Runtime.
