I've been working on some new maps and I thought I'd let y'all see. I'm hoping to post a bunch of these maps all in one package. these can be used in different combinations to produce a pretty wide range of materials on any outfit or prop from mesh to a sort of fake knitwear. basically what I've done is to mix reflection maps and bump maps together, something I'd never really looked at before, and instead of using the standard Poser refl. maps, I made some some new ones, including what I call blackchrome. it's an inverted (or negative) chrome map which gives a darker, more satiny look, and when combined with the bumps, can be kinda neat (I think). anyway, what I want to do is post the lot, with a mini tutorial/readme which covers everything I've found out abut this. that way I can leave it in your collective capable hands and get on with something else. watch this space. maclean PS 'scuse the crap image quality. didn't wamt to clog up Renderosity with huge photos.
