I needed a texture map that I could use for close ups so I figgered I'd take a shot at it on my own. Surprisingly enough it turned out pretty well so even as you read this the files are being uploaded to FreeStuff :-) The texture was created by 'Frankensteining' bits & pieces of real photos, gleaned primarily from the alt.*.erotica groups on usenet, onto a 2X template. I tried to keep the skin tones as neutral as possible so the tex map would be as close as possible to a 'universal' base that could be adapted for different ethnic characters just by changing the skin color in the materials editor. For an idea of what I'm talking about I've posted another example at Renderotica. BTW the example above has no post production & uses the standard poser lighting so you can see what it looks like 'out of the box' :-)

What wonderful eyelashes! Are they part of the texture? Very nice indeed. James

That looks wonderful! I dont have Victoria as I cant afford to buy her right now. Is there a hi-rez for the standard p4 woman anywhere? How do you get the lashes to look like that? My eyelashes always look real clunky. Thanks

thanx for the kind words & believe me I'd love to give you some arcane & mysterious method for these lashes, but it was a total accident. I was working on the skin tones & hadn't gotten around to doing anything with her eyebrows or lashes yet & I noticed what I call the 'mascara' effect during one of the test renders. It seems that when the standard MilLashes.jpg trans map from Zygote is applied (it came with the fantasy texture pack) a little of the horizontal grid from the untextured template leaks through & voila! Instant mascara :-) and Jen... try the transmap for the NeNe character on the P4 female I can get pretty much the same effect using it.
