100% RDNA items. When was the last time you brought out your hummingbird? Your trees? What's in Your archive? :)

Cool image and a good challenge, I am a little afraid to go digging, I can't memeber what the heck I got most days :-) never mind dusting off some of the golden oldies. ~Lady~

I can't remember either. :D I really need to clean up. I'll do it one folder at a time. It is nice to find some hidden gems. I'll probably try to do an 'Archive' image a day. This is the 2nd- the first was the Koshini-Taur. :) It's nice to actually use stuff. :D

Funny you should mention this... I just finished one that is a tribute to all those archived but not forgotten little creatures.

I am noticing a trend in 'dusting off the old gold' here recently...and I like it!

I've actually been trying to index what I've got on all the archives I've saved to disk. I've been using MS Word to sort the files and associated thumbnails and have had to break things up into smaller documents because Word can't handle the file size getting too big. I'd love to share what I'm doing, but the documents add up to over a 100 Mb in size. It's almost a losing proposition because there's so much new free stuff being posted every day. It's at least my small effort to try to add some order to all the content I have. I've got about four disks fully indexed and small portions of the others. One freeware product I'd recommend, to at least provide an index of everything you've got, is Catfish (download from cnet.com). It creates a searchable list of files on a disk or hard drive very quickly without taking up much space. Since I'm opening a lot of files up, mostly for the first time, I'm truly amazed and appreciative about how much incredible stuff people have shared with us.

My visual indexes of Poser content are at http://www.sharecg.com/pf/rgagnon

Nice info. I'm on a Mac so need to find something similar for it. :)

Catfish is good and is on my system, but another good one is VI Directory [free at www.visual-impact.net]. VID reads your archieve listings and allows you to make a print-out of the file names. The printout allows you space to make notes on the files and makes a very efficient index of folders/files on your harddrive or archieved CDs. As to keeping thumbnail files I used to use Thumbs+ but this is just added clutter to harddisk or archieve space. If I need to see graphically what a file contains I just do a look-see in P3dO Explorer.
