Subject: New poser female figure WIP

Hello, tought I would share with you my wip on my new poser female figure. I have been working on her a long time now...I have not yet make any textures since I haven't make any UVS yet. But here is the geometrie.It can give a good idea on her potential. Also yesterday, a hacker and/or Virus deleted my hard drive on wich I have all my lightwave objects of her...All of it GONE...and some other poser stuff as well!! BUT fortunatly I have more than one backups of my work, and even one on a computer that is not even connected with internet!! so :P to the hackers!!!!!!!!!! LOL See it IS IMPORTANT to ALWAYS make a backup of your stuff. I will post some more update on this WIP later on.

fine work on the head. a word, breasts, make them like real world breasts. nothing kills a great model than bad plastic surgury done by a man on crack if ya know what I mean. I just wish I could model. still learning lightwave at a snails pace. playing with doing morphs for poser models has helped a bit in the learning of how a good model is put together. look forward to seeing more WIP you do good work.

She look's great! :) I like the idea of what you have done with the eyelashes. It should produce fuller more natural looking lashes and the body seems very graceful and fluent in shape.

Your first pic reminds me of Audrey Hepburn. Just getting into modeling myself and you are definitely an inspiration!

It looks great, but there's something about the ears.. I dunno.. They're BEAUTIFULLY sculpted, but it's like the rim or whatever it's called is a bit too thick. I've SEEN people with such ears though, but mostly boys, not delicate looking women like this new one :o)

Neftis, some time ago you showed another female figure you were working on. Did you abandon that one, or did it become Neftoon Gal? I rather liked the look of that particular model and have been hoping you'd release it. This one, however... lovely. I do agree with ernyoka1 about the ears, though. Also, estherau's comment on the breasts is bang on the money. They look very natural and sit well on the ribcage. Credit card meltdown again, I guess.

SamTherapy, the other figure was Elle, not the NefToon Gal. :) At Polymage.com there's some mention of her in the forums.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone! sirkrite: Yess indeed with the good transmap it will look good ;) Those reminds me of a flower LOL PapaBlueMarlin:Hehe yeah, that was not really the point, but I can totally see the ressemblance:) ernyoka1:well I try my best, there is already a huge difference between my early version and this one, but don't worry, I'll try to fix some beter morphs.I can't wait to see her fully textured!:) thanks for the comment. SamTherapy:hehe ok I will explain, this is a better version of the first one.I put an image so you can see... I like my new one better of course, but it's so many more hours of work! The deal about my old model is...I used the BODY to make neftoon gal, I have created a cartoon head and morph the body to make a cartoonish looking one. I wasn't satisfied with my old head and this is WHY I decided to rework it. but now I ended up to rework the body a little as well to fix some troubles I had. The polygon flow is better, but yet, I am still learning everyday!I had now more than one year to make mistakes on her and learn from them LOL but when finished and fully textured, I think she will be very nice to render! (Well I hope so LOL Elle version 1 will never be release, since it is neftoon gal in part(body only)...unless you really want her anyway, then I might change my mind...but I concentrate myself mostly on version 2 right now. I am planning a male as well...but let's finish this one first LOL again thanks for the comments, it is really important for me to be able to continue my work.

She's got a mature, strong, sophisticated look about her. Makes me think of some of the mature, "women in charge" on some movies and T.V. shows (Sydney Bristow's mom on Alias comes to mind). I think she's got great potential for some interesting renders!

Wow! Looks awesome! You should see if Anton would be willing to work his UV magic on her. Like Cyhiraeth says, she got a good strong look to her which I like. She looks a bit like the house wife pics from 50's ads.
