Hi all, I am new to this forum. I did a search last night and found that several people here had a simular problem. I even added to a thread but no answer yet. So here go's.... I had installed the Vue Demo before the P5 compatibility update. I tried to get Vue to open/load a Poser file and it said invalid SN. Well, I promptly got on the phone w/ CL (I highly recommend this mode of comm. w/ them by the way), and after having me check several things, he assured me that my sn was ok and that P5 was ok to. He said it must be Vue and to contact them. I tried again to load a p5 fle and got an "unable to read file" error. Well, I then found out that it was not yet compatible. But when the update came out, I went ahead and got it after several friends said they had P5 and Vue and had no problems. Well, imagine my dissappointment when I tried to load a P5 scene into my new copy of Vue w/ the update and I got the dreaded "unable to read file" message. It didn't even look for the poser exe this time. Now I have read bit's and pieces about how to fix this but I really need some detailed instructions on how to do it. I have seen stuff about changing folder names and dll names. Like I said I need to know details about the procedures. I don't want to totally screw up my progams. I wrote to e-on but this time something went wrong and I got no answer. I think that maybe they didn't like the fact that I suggested that maybe their software was programmed to leave crap behind on my computer. Thanks! Rhonda
