I'm working on a Java "clone" of the Windows-only RTEncoder application by Russell Cook. The current status is alpha - there are some problems with encoding across platforms and CRC checksums that need to be resolved, but decoding should work for the most part.

Does anyone care about this project? If not, I may drop it, as it has already consumed more of my time than I had predicted it would.

I see that Russell Cook has started working on a cross-platform version of RTEncoder, so I'll let my project die.

I'm interested, certainly. Out of necessity, I've had to encrypt several freebies with RTEncoder, and would be quite happy if Mac users could finally use them without having to borrow someone's PC. RTEncoder is far more versatile than Maz's Objaction Mover utility, since it can encrypt all filetypes (even textures).

Little_Dragon,

I've decided to finish the Java version.
See the link for more detail.
