VERRY NICE! LOOKS VERRY REAL.

Really like the mist in the second render. Also like the colors on the top one. Guess it would depend on the mood of the picture you want. The second render makes the landscape look scary and sad. Great job! Peggy

I like both of them...a lot...and everything looks so great...how do you do it?!?

Both skies are impressive. . . . and I must agree with Peggy regarding the different mood of each picture. What will be the final theme of your image? That information should help determine an image preference.

Love both of the skys, but especially the second one, it has such depth! The terrain is great too, as is the texture, but here I really prefer the first render. Terrific scenes all-around.

Both skies look great but I do prefer the second one with the mist. 8)

Yeah, that 2nd one is so atmospheric.

I heartily concur with Catlin and Chohole. Definitely ethnain. Helwa jiddin!

I like the second one. Moody skies add so much to an image.

The brightness of the sky and the shadows of the mountains clash in the first one. I like the second IMAGE much better but the first SKY is my favorite.

#2 is fantastic! You just need Frodo, Sam & Gollum to make it complete!

(grins!) Wow, thanks for all the input! I really don't like posting scenes with only one or two elements like this, but I thought these skies were worth sharing... To Bryster : I refuse to do LOTR, Star Wars, or Star trek images... Too many of them already. Plus, when it comes down to it, whoever has the most pages wins, and Rand al'Thor would kick Frodo's ass, even in his sleep... Hell, I can't think of ANYONE who could take Rand, from ANY literature, ever! I'm not quite sure where I'm going with this scene, but it will come together, given time! I might just throw in some castles and trees, and make it a horizontal panorama... Thank you all for your ideas/suggestions and of course for writing me back!

They are both great... I like the coloring on the second one better though. But like I said they are both great. 8)
