I purchased the downloadable version of Poser 4.03 direct from Curious Labs. I installed exactly as per instructed. Third party hair renders fine. The PDF doesn't make it clear what default hair textures belong to which Avatar. I have yet to render anything but solid lumps of hair on the default figures. If I set the sliders in render option to anywhere other than zero I get see through bits and pieces. If I set the sliders to zero I get a solid lump. On the "Contents CD" there are texture templates in Tiff format. I installed these just in case I missed something, and these didn't overwrite anything else. Look what I'm getting now!! See picture below. Are the default hair textures meant to look like texture or does one see just a solid lump? This gets more and more bizarre each day. Any advice gratefully received. Leonardis
