Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 1:45 am)
I don't think other people's standards for the inside of an elbow is quite as high as yours. :) Joint geometry deforms greater when the base joint has too many contours on it. Things like elbows and knees will always stretch along a curve ripping at any cut lines modelled in. The problem is made worse by the industry standard of models being made in the standard "crucifiction" stance. Ideally joints and limbs need to be at a perfect compromise in rotation from each rotation limit. Basically the joint suffers alot of performance traveling from fully extended to fully contracted. Daz's work on the elbows and knees for V3 for Poser are quite remarkable for the medium actually. It really doesn't get much better. no kidding, -Anton :)

You are kidding me. The inside of V3's elbows, when they are bent, even with a hi-res texture, look awful. Aside from playing around with morphs or postwork has anyone devised a simple way to deal with this issue?
