Okay, it's not the challenge, although I do have major bones to pick with a piece of software that would take a week to render my current idea... it's just the change in ideas. I was well on my way to doing robots and starting on organic modelling. Then once I came back to England I had a falling out. Haven't been able to do a decent model in a month almost, let alone a respectable render. Drac

Dry spells come with the territory. Stop worrying, the ideas will come. :^)

I agree with the above....except for the decaf..... must have caffine!!! You are creative, have the abilities necessary to move ahead; But sometimes the creative side just lies dormant for a short time. Take a little rest from the art and go sight seeing outside the dorm or via the internet. Sometimes that sparks the creativity. Wade 8)

I was kidding about the decaf. Ever since I read the university study that showed that men who drink five or more cups of coffee a day are far more likely to maintain there sexual potency well into there 80's... ...well,.. let's just say I have two coffee makers, and leave it at that. ?;>)

C'mon Drac! I've looked to you for inspiration many times! I first dived into Wings because of all the cool things I saw that you had built with the app. I made nearly all the ancient and extinct creatures in my challenge entry using Wings and they didn't turn out half bad. You still FAR surpass me in modeling in Wings, so I'm sure that when inspiration hits it will be a doddle for you to make a fantastic and satisfying entry to this month's challenge. You can do it! Now, if I've annoyed you all I ask is a ten second head-start!

Sometimes parts of us need a rest. It's so easy to think something's wrong as soon as something different happens.

(grins at artworksco!) So that's what's keeping me going in my old age?!?! Drac, it's all good... I try and post at least ONE gallery image a month, but really I have a few hard drives full of unfinished scenes. Sometimes I can finish an image in a day, then stare at it for a year before deciding that it's "done".
