I really like the new procedural textures available in Poser 5 with the new renderer. I was just wondering if anyone knows whether there are any commercially available shaders to expand the range. Also does anyone know of any plans to port the Dark Tree /Simbiot range to Poser? (- These are available to a wide range of software Max, Lightwave, Truespace, etc etc)

No clue but simboit procedures would be great!

For your first question, there are some P5 materials available for free at RDNA, in the freestuff. There also a copule of sets for sale at PoserPros. I recomend them all. As for your second question, what is Dark Tree / Simbiot ?

Very interesting link, thank you. Since Dark Tree is renderman compliant, and so is Firefly AFAIK, I'd think that one can make the shaders compatable with P5 materials ?

I usually make my textures using simboint procedures on a flat plane rendered to a jpg, I like how I can change the look of it with just a few alterations. If you look to free stuff in the next few days my upcoming river free stuff uses this procedure.
