Hi folks,
Today we introduce our newest plug-in, Parchment. Parchment lets you combine an image with your render, producing a composite image. You can apply artistic media textures (such as paper or stone) textures, overlay part of an image onto your render or achieve surreal results with odd combination techniques.
You can learn all about Parchment at
http://www.digitalcarversguild.com/products/parchment/
Check out the Parchment gallery at

And finally try the Parchment and Toon! Cave Drawing tutorial at

You can download and try out Parchment from the links below.

We are also introducing a new package deal with Parchment. Buy the Noir and Parchment bundle and save $10 off the combined price.
Also, existing Noir customers can use their original order number to save $10 off a purchase of Parchment. At the Address Form when checking out, there will be a field labeled "If you have any applicable discount coupon, enter it here:". Enter your original Noir order number that looks like REXXXXXX in that field for a $10 coupon.

I'm curious could the texture placement be animated. I'm not sure of a good explanation, but is placement accurate enough that you could texture just a rock in a scene, and keep the mapping on just that as the camera moves. This looks interesting, its almost like photoshop layering in Carrara. Brian

Brian, It is layers. Though the name and the first tutorial focus on adding texture to the rendered image, it is a pretty powerful compositing tool. Best regards, Eric Winemiller Digital Carvers Guild 3D plug-ins for Carrara http://digitalcarversguild.com

Cool. This is exactly what I thought the NPR was lacking. One of these days I'm going to break down and buy some of your stuff, Eric. I don't know whether to hope Eovia hires you and pays you lots of $$$ to integrate your tools into Carrara or that you keep creating killer little plug ins to show off the potential of this great app. - Jasen.
