I understand what it is used for, but how do you judge the distance based on the number...I have Blur set at 3 & the focus is at 100, which I assume is the preset number there. I guess I don't get/understand the distance thing . What exactly is focus = 100, is that like equivelant to feet/miles???? TIA

Focus works just like a normal camera. The presetting I believe is 35mm in Vue. If you take a real camera and set the focus at 35mm; the way the picture would have come up in the camera will come up the same way in Vue. So, naturally when you set the focus at 100 you are just bringing everything closer (to be precise VERY VERY close)! :-) And blur is just to create more depth. Just like when you adjust your camera focus at some point the picture becomes a bit blurry (too close or out of focus). Hope it helps!

Click the link here and go to my utorials. See "Deepth of field". This is for Vue 4 versions, because in Vue Pro you can be much more precis. Guitta Tutorials for Beginners
