Im useing Rhino to make morph targets. Im able to make them fine but i have a model im trying to get morphs in to. this is a complex model and after exporting and converting to rhino file format. I dont have any groups. So i try to explode the poly and i Ican then select them. i re join them and in port the morph to poser nad it just crumbles. Whats going on here? here is the image This is afer reinporting im triong to get the red marks to move any ideas?

Hi grid, I'm not sure you can do what you want using a morph target. The movable part's shape will get distorted when you try to apply the morph. I believe this needs to be done as a figure with the movable piece(s) done as separate body parts with "bend"ing turned OFF. (as shown above) cheers, dr geep ;=]

Remember ... "With Poser, all things are possible, and poseable!"

cheers,

dr geep ... :o]

Geep is correct. The morph will be fine at 0.00 and at 1.00, but in between it will distort the geometry. You need to do it by rotating the pieces mac

Ahh this is what i thought. Ive tryed to in port it to the phi builder but it only gives me one object name

this is because morphing does only translation to the vertices, but not a rotation ...
