I have rendered three animation sequences in Poser Propack and saved them as AVI'S ,Full Frames Uncompressed. When they are played, individually,in Windows Media Player they are sharp and crisp. But when I join them as a sequence in Windows Movie Maker and save them, they play back fuzzy. Can anyone suggest what my problem may be? Also what Movie Editors do all you Poser experts use to join your sequences? arrow1

I believe that WIndows Movie Maker compresses the final movie to windows media format, which makes things look fuzzy at low settings. Check the file extention of your resulting combined movie after you save it. Does it end with .wmv? If so, that's the reason. You might be able to adjust the quality settings in the Movie Maker, but I'm not familiar with it. For combining clips, editing, and FX, I use Vegas Video 4.0 by SonicFoundry. It allows you do a lot more, and save your final cuts as many different file formats with multiple resolution and playback settings.

I use VIDEOMACH was is available for a 30 day trial. Try WWW.GROMADA.COM for the program. It sounds like it will do exactly what you want.

Virtualdub is another avi program to try.texmextortilla posted Thu, 29 January 2004 at 4:38 PM
Even better, get virtualdubmod and avisynth(not 2.5 though cause that causes virtualdub to crash)
