The colors remind me of Christmas for some reason. Maybe it's the reds and a kind of slight hint of green or something. The effect is interesting, but kind of just sits there. It's really hard to tell what's going on in this shot. The effect has blended a lot of edges and I messed with perspective. I guess I'd have to ask first, what effect you were trying to go for. Otherwise, I dunno if you meant it too look like this or if you missed.

Ok, leme elaborate a bit more. I accidently saw this in a flower nursery. They had locked up 3 brooms to a pole. I was almost out of the gate when it stuck me and i turned around and took a picture of it. I had to hurry cause the car was on the main road and my colleague was yelling at me to come on board, so , I had very little time to think about the shoot that's why I have been brooding over this picture for quite sometime. So finally, i gave it a sepia tone and then a little enhancement of the contrast and stuff...... then I took the lock from the original shot, croped it and put it there to look fresh. DHolman, you are right about one thing, there are too many angles to this damn pic, lmao. There were few asbestos sheets on the background and there were stone pebbles on the ground below. I will try and resize and put the image as it was shot, it is very uniteresting , trust me. Only, the title got me working on it , I thought it made a interesting natural composition.:O)) SNAKEY

Sometimes the observation is as far as it can go. You saw an interesting shape; it triggered a memory, or a song, or a story. But sometimes that is as far as it will go. Let it pass, and you will find others.
