Looks incredibly good, Baz! :o) You might want to post a link to this thread in the Character Creators Forum. I'm sure the regulars there will be able to offer more critical input... other than me going "oooh" and "aaah". :o) Is this a self-portrait? I remember you posting a similar looking fish when we had the "LW Fishface Challenge". :o) Cheers! M

Major ooopsie... with great heaps of apology and generous sprinkles of abject humility, Baz. Did I ever confess that I suffer from chronic "foot-in-mouth" disorder? My bad. :o( M

hi Baz, thanks for the refs, i notice some assymetry in Hitchcocks face, his right eye seems to be slightly higher than the left and the right side of his mouth is a slightly different shape to the left. are you going to incorporate these into the model? nice job so far mate btw stu
BazC posted Mon, 02 February 2004 at 1:59 PM
Hiya Stu, you're right, when you lay the mesh over the refs you can see major differences between the two sides. I think these will have a big effect in getting a good likeness so yes I'm going to give it a go. I've never tried adding assymetry before so fingers and everything else will be crossed! Thanks for your input! :o) - Baz
